Yael Stone

Stone was born and raised at Sydney, Australia. She went to Sydney's Newtown High School of the Performing Arts as well as The National Institute of Dramatic Art. Stone began acting as young, and was featured in the films Me Myself I and the miniseries The Farm. In 2008, at the Sydney Theatre Awards she was given the award for Best Newcomer aswell in the category of Best Supporting Artist, due to her part on The Kid. She also worked in television as a supporting actress in All Saints and Spirited. In 2010 she was a part of 2011 in The Diary of a Madman. In this role, she won a nomination at the Sydney Theatre Awards for Best Supporting actress. In February of 2011, she travelled to New York to perform in the Brooklyn Academy of Music's production The Diary of a Madman prior to returning for lead roles in A Golem Story, Summer of the Seventeenth Doll, and As You Like It in Sydney.
